Public Comment Period Open for Draft Grays Harbor Critical Areas Ordinance


Grays Harbor County is accepting written comments on proposed code amendments as they proceed with the county's Critical Areas Ordinance and Natural Resource Lands update process. Written comments on the section "threshold determination" will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on April 28, 2010. A critical-areas ordinance is required by all counties in Washington. It oversees building regulations for wetlands, aquifers, fish and wildlife habitat conservation areas, frequently flooded areas and geologically hazardous area.
