PADDLE OUT FOR CLEAN WATER
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2009
JOIN THE SURFRIDER FOUNDATION’S WASHINGTON CHAPTERS AS THEY PADDLE OUT FOR CLEAN WATER.
The Surfrider Foundation’s Washington Chapters are organizing a Paddle Out for Clean Water on September 12th 2009 at Hobuck Beach in Neah Bay, WA. You are invited to paddle out on surfboards, kayaks, standup paddleboards, canoes, etcetera. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about the water quality of the waters we recreate in year round.
The paddle out is set to take place at 11AM. Please gather near the Surfrider Foundation tent on the beach in front of Hobuck Campgrounds. Following the paddle out we will have some ocean fun and participate in a beach cleanup.
Stay the weekend and join us on Sunday the 13th for our 1st Annual Mini Kids’ Camp. This small surf camp is intended to share the stoke of recreating in the ocean with the youth of the Makah Tribe. Volunteers are always appreciated in the water and on the beach for the day’s activities.
